Beat the GMAT Logo Concept 2

This is our second logo concept for Beat the GMAT, one of the Web’s largest GMAT prep resource sites, presented in a public contest on 99 Designs. This second concept was meant to be a bit more abstract while still exuding the web 2.0 feel of the website and service. We continued with the concept of the speech bubbles due to the fact that Beat the GMAT is essentially a social & training network for students prepping to take the GMAT. However, we gave this concept more of an icon feel. We felt that this could appeal to the college-age crowd on social networks as well as be an easily recognizable icon for the site’s favicon or even their mobile apps.
