When were you founded?
Virtual Sidekick was founded in 2008 by Ina Stanley & Carlton Barnette. Our original office was located in Durham, NC.
Where are you located?
We’re now located in Atlanta, GA, though we’re proud of our NC roots and still have an office there.
What are your business hours?
We’re opened Monday – Friday from 9am to 7pm EST, and Saturdays from 10am to 6pm EST. We’re available by phone, live chat and email during our normal business hours. We’re generally closed for all major US holidays as well as August 13 and August 27.
What types of services do you offer?
We currently offer web and graphic design, custom logos and a variety of web marketing services including Facebook marketing, web marketing group training (for offices), social media for businesses and professional press releases.
What types of clients do you serve?
We’ve developed our packages and pricing to be suitable for every business – from the solo entrepreneur or small business to medium and large businesses. Our web marketing training was designed for groups – specifically a business’ entire office staff.
What areas do you serve?
We’re available for in-person meetings, on-site work and paid consultations in the Downtown, Midtown / Atlanta Station and Dunwoody areas of Atlanta. However, our web-based services are available to all of the US, Canada, the UK (and English-speaking countries of Europe) and Australia. We only offer support for English-speaking countries at this time.
What kind of experience & background do you have?
Our team possesses over 10 years of web design experience and 5 years experience in the web marketing field. We’re proficient in HTML, CSS, Adobe Illustrator and project management and will be adding support for PHP, HTML5 and CSS3 in the coming months.
Do you give back to the community or environment?
We fully believe that companies should be involved in their local communities. Each year, we strive to work with local non-profits to provide free education and services for aspiring professionals and start-ups. We also work with social change organizations to provide assistance and education to our community’s next wave of progressive leaders.
We also believe that a good company does what it can to minimize its impact on the environment. As such, we’ve transitioned to paperless operations and encourage the use of web marketing to minimize paper waste, printing and emissions from the shipping of paper products.
I don’t understand some of your terminology. Where can I get more info?
Throughout our website and web marketing materials, we use a lot of industry-standard terms such as “SEO” or “CMS.” If you need more information, we encourage you to contact us via live chat here on our website, by phone or by email. And you can always check out our blog, where we intend to discuss these and other industry terms in much greater detail!
